Change graphic card without offering the warranty!     1 ·     2 ·     3 ·     4 ·     5 ·     6 ·  Many of you my readers of this interweb place, have often wondered how to change graphic card on a datamachine without losing the guarantee. As You all know, the guarantee isn't valid once you lift of the bodywork of the datamachine. I'll show you an excellent work-around to this problem, assisted by my co-workers Mac-alfie and Billy Grind. Investigate placement First hand, figure out were the graphic card is located. Usually it's the one with a cable connected to the screen. Sometimes there are small fragments of color around the place where the cable goes into the data, this is a good sign that you are on the right track! Mark carefully! Mark on the top of the datamachine where the graphic card is located with a marker pen. Don't be stingy, make it big to avoid problems during the lift out. Annons
